Beijer Tech acquires INUinvest AB, consisting of INUstyr together with its sister companies

Beijer Alma's subsidiary Beijer Tech entered into an agreement today to acquire 75 percent of the shares in INUinvest AB, consisting of INUstyr together with its sister companies.

INUstyr is active in building automation systems and offers energy efficient solutions for public and private customers in Sweden. The company focuses on complete solutions for indoor environments through system integration and coordination, particularly in commercial and specialized buildings. The corporate group's sales amount to approximately MSEK 110 with favorable profitability.

Beijer Tech's President, Staffan Johansson, commented on the transaction: "The acquisition of INUstyr represents an important milestone for Beijer Tech. INUstyr is a well-managed niche company with a very strong market position. I'm pleased that we were able to complete this acquisition, which we view as an exciting new area in Beijer Tech."

After the sale of the majority stake, the previous principal owners will remain in place as minority owners and in their operative roles to further develop operations. INUstyr's CEO, Roger Svensson, commented on the transaction: "For us in the INU Group, this feels like a natural step in our ongoing journey of growth. We are convinced that in Beijer Tech, we have found the right strategical partner for the long-term ownership and development of the company alongside new and existing customers."

Beijer Alma's CEO, Henrik Perbeck, commented on the transaction: "Beijer Tech is continuing to pursue its strategy of acquiring companies in attractive niches and this acquisition provides a platform for a new growth area."

Beijer Alma AB (publ) is an international industrial group that focuses on component production and industrial supplies. The Group includes Lesjöfors, one of Europe's largest spring manufacturers, Habia Cable, one of Europe's largest manufacturers of custom-designed cables and Beijer Tech, with strong positions in industrial supplies in the Nordic region. Beijer Alma is listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm Mid Cap.
