IMAP Teams in Germany, Sweden, and Japan collaborate on Acquisition of Linear Robot Automation Specialist WEMO

Swedish linear robot automation specialist, Wemo, part of the HAHN Automation Group since 2015, was looking to secure the company’s long-term future following a decision by HAHN to re-position affecting non-core business units.
 
With the help of the team in IMAP Japan, Michael and Jörgen found the ideal fit in Yushin. Operating in the same field as Wemo, Yushin has a very strong footprint in Asia and North America, and under the new ownership, Wemo will remain a strong brand for the European market and build the foundations for Yushin’s expansion on the continent.
