Götesson is a leading interior design company specializing on offices, hotel & conference environments.

Götessons Industri AB (”Götessons”), with headquarter and warehouse in Dalstorp, 80km east of Gothenburg, design, develop, produce and market quality products for the office , conference and hotel environment. Connecting Capital Sweden AB is a family controlled investment company that has acquired 70 % of Götessons. In conjunction with Connecting Capital’s acquisition of Götessons, through the newly formed company Götessons Intressenter, the sellers reinvested 30 %.

Lars Nordin, the new chairman of Götessons Industri, says; ”For us at Connecting Capital, who have our roots in a Swedish entrepreneurial environment through the ABA-Group, it feels great to get the opportunity to invest in this type of a successful innovative Swedish manufacturing company”.

Johan Götesson, the former majority owner of Götessons, says: “We are excited to work together with Connecting Capital and benefit from their broad and long experience in business and corporate development. This, together with our specific industry knowledge and innovation will create favorable conditions to grow Götessons to the next level. Connecting Capital’s long-term commitment ensures a safe growth for Götessons. Johan Götesson has been the company’s CEO since 2006 and will continue to work as a CEO. Johan Götesson will continue to own 15 % of the company.

Connecting Capital’s goal is to develop Götesssons product portfolio and expand into existing and new geographic market. This is made possible only through a long-term ownership. All personnel will remain in the company also after the acquisition.

IMAP advised the sellers throughout the process. “This has been a fun and exciting process with a large interest from a number of buyers, largely because of the great history and steady growth Götessons has shown, but also because of the exciting future they face. We wish the new shareholder structure the best of luck and we look forward to follow the company in the future”, says Tim Persson, IMAP.
