Multilatinas are leading Latin American companies that have consolidating their presence and competitive advantage in their respective local markets and have expanded to other markets in the region, but also outside of Latam to markets such as the United States or Europe. The panel discussed the challenges, risks and mitigants Multilatinas face when they enter M&A transactions to expand their business across the region and beyond. The Symposium, organized by host firm Inverlink, is part of the IMAP Fall Conference program in Bogota, Colombia on October 19 - 21, attended by over 90 delegates from across IMAP. The focus of the conference is exploring M&A opportunities in Latin American and on creating cross-border and inter-regional collaboration.
