Third base was founded in 2011 and is located in Malmo in the south of Sweden. The company offers specialist competence in system development, system architecture and test management. The expertise of the consultants can be divided into web development, mobile solutions, app development and backend solutions. Third Base stands for quality, expertise and innovation. The company has 34 employees and a turnover of around SEK 35 million with good margins. In 2016 and 2017 Third Base was awarded with the DI Gazelle award. Third Base is targeting several industries, with the retail industry being the dominate one, including customers such as IKEA, Spotify, SEB and a major US customer.
The buyer B3IT offers advanced consultancy services within IT and management. They help their clients to improve strategies, processes, technology and organizations in a way that generates clear and fast results, for both operations and IT. B3IT has around 490 employees, a turnover of around SEK 620 million and the company's shares are listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm exchange.
